It was totally heart-stopping to watch the finale of the American Idol yesterday. Two of the best singers in America battle their way to win the most prestigious award to be called American Idol. The top two were Jessica Sanchez and Philip Philips. In the end, Philip Philips won the prize by a margin of votes that he got from supporters. Many disagree with the result because majority of the people liked Jessica Sanchez to win the award. Honestly, I was not surprised with the result of the show. Fans and supporters of Jessica Sanchez were very vocal about their idol contender but the Philips side just kept silent. Jessica Sanchez is already a star and many recording companies are already after the young Filipino-Mexican singer for a recording contract. Having the second slot is not bad as many would think it is for not winning. Hey Michael Jordan did not got the first overall pick during his rookie year but still is considered one of the best players who played in the NBA. I know that basketball is quite different from singing. Philip Philips won the award but Jessica Sanchez got the recording deal. I know Jessica Sanchez will earn more compared to Philip Philips in the end.
